At the present 126 children (Girls 72 and Boys 54) from the Badi community are staying at hostel with safe environment and getting educational facilities from child protection center. coordination of the Office of Chief Minister and Ministries of Council and financial and technical support of UNDP-EUSIF, Badi Sarokar Manch Nepal has been carried out to prepare Badi profile of Karnali Province and the Badi profile aims to cover data from each household of the Badi community across Karnali province. The profile includes information on their demographic details, access to resources, access to government allowances, access to basic service delivery, their involvement and participation, unemployment, education health, involvement in the planning process of LGs, and situation of caste-based discrimination in different communities residing in Karnali province.
