Ms. Sunita Badi is an expert in human rights activism, research, and community participation. As a Norec Professional Fellow at Samata Foundation, learning research and organising rights-based events in Nepal and Bangladesh. Was a fundamental member of a Karnali Office of Chief Minister and Council of Minister (OCMCM) Working Group sponsored by EU Support to Inclusive Federalism. Thoroughly assessed Badi community in Karnali, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim and analysed local and provincial government responses to Badi needs. Samata Foundation’s Dalit Human Right Defender, specialised in Dalit and women’s rights, filed several FIRs against human rights abuses. Leading member of Badi Sarokar Manch Nepal, helping marginalised populations’ education.
