Our Vision

The people of Nepal enjoy the optimum quality of life, live in peace and freedom, defend their socio-cultural, political and economic pluralism and regulate their local government to function in a transparent and accountable manner. Quality of life can be measured in terms of the level of education, health livelihood, and participation, access to resources, services and decision-making process. BSMN envisions a society where dignity of marginalized and disadvantaged people is ensured for all men and women through empowerment and inclusion; therefore, BSMN want to see " Prosperous and dignified community"

Our Mission

BSMN mission is to work together amongst the marginalize and excluded community to make empowerment and inclusion a level for human development.

Our Goal

The people of Nepal take control of the devolved resources and services, lead the development process for their human and institutional development and practice, their basic human and civil rights in a democratic environment.

Development Objective

To secure the rights of and obtain socio-political inclusion for the most disadvantaged women, children and youth in Nepal through strengthening the institutional and individual capacity of women, children and youth to improve social, economic and political opportunities. 

  1. Promote human rights, Inclusive democracy practice and Good Governance in all institution and organization.
  2. Improve sustainable livelihoods and Income creating decent jobs and opportunities in all settings.
  3. Build resilient societies for combating climate and environmental crisis.
  4. Strengthen institutional systems, Policy environment and organizational sustainability.
  5. Ensure proportional representation of voiceless people in socio-political sphere.

Specific Objectives

Purpose

The Community organization are empowered to:

  1. Acquire legitimate space in the promotion human rights, democratization, decentralization and development.
  2. Provide backstopping support to community groups in their empowering process at the local level.
  3. Proportional representation of disadvantaged/marginalized community in all areas and sectors of state and society.

Guiding Principle

BSMN operates it’s action under the five guiding principles:
